Got questions?  We have answers!  Check out our list of Frequently Asked Questions...

1. What is a Life Group?
Life Groups are smaller clusters of people who meet together regularly to pursue spiritual growth together in 3 major areas:
  • Growing in their personal relationship with God
  • Developing and deepening friendships with each other
  • Reaching out to others beyond the group
2. Who are Life Groups for?
Whether you’re brand-new to Liquid or you’ve been coming for years, a Life Group is a great next step for anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with God and others through relationships.

3. What is a typical Life Group meeting like?
Each Life Group is unique, Online Life groups brings together people from various locations virtually. Hybrid Life Groups meet regionally
and has a member join a "live" group each week from a different location.  Both groups consist of conversation up front, followed by a time of study and prayer. The meeting will last somewhere around 1 &1/2 to 2 hours.

4. What will we study?
When a group first starts out, you will follow a study guide curriculum written by Pastor Tim & Tom that will be based on Liquid's Sunday messages. After that, your group will decide together what to study next from a list of approved curriculum.

5. How often will we meet?
Life Groups meet on a weekly basis.

6. How long will my group last?
All groups complete one full study together (anywhere from 5-10 weeks). After that, you’ll meet  with your group members and decide together whether you’d like to continue on as a group. If your group does decide to go on, there are natural on and off ramps built into the life cycle of every group (breaks between studies, Christmas and Summer break, etc.) so you’ll be able to transition out of the group if it’s not the best fit for you, or if your circumstances change.

7. Can I be in more than one Life Group?
While you are certainly not locked into a group forever, it’s important that you commit to attending only one Life Group. If you would like to check out a different group, we have designated on and off ramps every few months for you to make those transitions.

8. How do I join?
Groups are structured by stage of life. For a current list of avilable Life Groups please email Matt@LiquidChurch.com.

If you have additional questions about joining a group you can email Matt Johnson, Life Groups Coordinator, at Matt@LiquidChurch.com any time.
